About

Hi, I’m Haley! a birth and postpartum doula based in Portland. I believe birth is one of the most transformative experiences a person can move through, and that everyone deserves compassionate, informed support that helps them feel safe, seen, and empowered.

After becoming a mother myself, I was struck by how much families are expected to navigate on their own and how deeply those early experiences shape the transition into parenthood. That realization led me to doula work and a desire to help families feel more supported, informed, and less alone through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

My approach to care is somewhere between a trusted friend and steady tour guide. I believe that building a safe relationship with my clients allows me to better support them through every stage of the journey. My work is rooted in inclusive, trauma-informed care and the belief that evidence-based education combined with intuition, embodied wisdom, and honoring your own values can help create a safer, more grounded environment for birth to unfold.

Outside of birth work, I’m deeply creative and happiest when I’m making or growing something. I love sewing, drawing, crafting, gardening, and spending time outside as possible (especially if there’s an opportunity to swim). Nurturing things from seed to harvest feels deeply connected to the way I approach birth work: with patience, care, trust, and curiosity.

I trained with Cornerstone Doula Trainings, a program grounded in community, inclusivity, advocacy, and reproductive justice. I’m a birth and postpartum doula with additional training in fetal positioning and a strong passion for evidence-based childbirth education and continued learning.

Mission

Compassionate Support for Every Birth

My mission is to provide compassionate, inclusive, and informed support that helps birthing people and their families feel empowered and cared for through the transformative experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and centered on collaboration. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, my goal is to create a supportive space where you feel informed, cared for, and capable. Through education, emotional grounding, and hands-on guidance, I help parents navigate this season with trust in their bodies, their instincts, and each other.
